This video isn’t particularly well-made. The song is thoroughly mediocre. The thing borders on boring at some points.
BUT–
It really shows you the huge amount of anti-Barry sentiment that’s out there. Here in the Bay, we’re (slightly more) immune to the backlash that takes place around the rest of the country (though it is pretty interesting how many of the anti-Barry fans in the video are at Pac Bell).
From New Yorker cartoons to styrofoam syringes, there have been an awful lot of clever jabs. Whimsy, even.
