If you have an illegal handgun but not a driver’s license, you probably want to avoid doing 77 miles per hour in a 45 zone at 4am in the Bronx. Well, unfortunately no one told Sebastian Telfair about that sensible idea:
Telfair and a passenger in the car, Al Eden Fuentes, 28, of Queens, were both charged with second-degree possession of a weapon, a felony. Telfair was also hit with a misdemeanor charge of second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and issued summonses accusing him of speeding and driving without a license, violations.
“He was very polite and cooperative with our officer,” O’Leary said of Telfair, who along with Fuentes was being held by county police.
Felony? Misdemeanor? Summons? Hey, gotta be polite. Telfair (who the report describes as “Boston Celtics star” for some reason; someone’s been misinformed) even smiled for the mug shot camera. What a nice guy!
For Bassy’s sake, let’s hope he doesn’t meet up with Fabolous’ crew in the slammer, because Fabolous probably doesn’t think Telfair is such a polite guy.
(Sidenote: Fabolous’ real name is Skylar? Really?)
